A one-day human-to-human experience
Visiting Siem Reap for a short time? If you cannot join our longer journey, you can still step into a real Cambodian village for one meaningful day — meet its elders, share a meal, and leave with a different sense of the place.
Limited to once a month — by personal request only.
About the tour
You will visit a real Cambodian village and spend time with elderly people who are my friends. They are aware of the visits, gave their consent, and genuinely enjoy meeting new people. During these five hours, we share food, stories, and the small rituals that make a life — not as tourists, but as guests.
What we do together
Every step is unhurried and optional. You are invited to take part at whatever pace feels right for you.
We shop together at the local market for the ingredients of the day — fresh produce, fish, rice, and small treats for the elders.
We move slowly from house to house, welcomed as guests. Each visit is short, personal, and shaped by the elder we are seeing that day.
The groceries we bought and small thoughtful gifts are offered with both hands — a quiet way of saying "we came to share, not to take."
We translate, we listen, we laugh. Some elders tell stories from before the war, some show photos, some simply hold your hand.
You will see how food is cooked over open fire, how mats are woven, how fruits are gathered, and how time moves differently outside the city.
We finish the day with a humble meal at a local place.
This is not sightseeing.
This is a human-to-human experience,
built on care and respect.
Experience warmth & the beauty of giving
Because each visit is personal and the elders are real people with their own rhythm, we run this experience only when the day feels right. Please reach out in advance to ask about upcoming availability — we will tell you honestly what is open.

Perfectly okay! Many of our participants start off feeling shy, and by the second day, everyone feels like a family. You can follow your own pace, join in when you feel comfortable, and still be part of the shared creative and soulful experience.
These are not just trips.
Every tour combines culture, connection, and giving. You don't just see the places, you live them. You connect with locals, support elderly people, and leave with memories, and a deeper sense of purpose.
We are very flexible, you can contact us up to a week before the tour, and we'll happily transfer your deposit to another date.
