My name is Samalia Swan, and I bring people back to themselves through drawing.
I’ve spent the last five years traveling the world with my sketchbook, capturing strangers in quick, soulful portraits, the kind that make people smile, soften, or suddenly remember who they are.
What began as simple sketches on the road grew into my way of seeing life. Drawing opened me, healed me, and turned into the language through which I express everything I feel.
Now I teach others to draw the same way: freely, confidently, and from the heart. I also create commissioned portraits that carry emotion, story, and presence.
