In March, we delivered food to our dear elders in the village for the eighth time. As always, we welcomed a new member — an old woman who lives alone.
Starting this March, Sieb and Sarun are now receiving pensions from our fund. Previously, only three elderly in the village received pensions — now there are five!
I can’t believe that we’ve already completed two-thirds of our program, and we’ve been working in this village for eight months. It was here that the idea for a shelter community for elders was born — a safe, warm place for lonely elderly people. There are many like them not only in this village but across the region, in towns and provinces, and many are ready to move to spend their later years surrounded by kind-hearted elders.
