Dear friends,
I want to share a small update about Grandma Huy’s house.
Because of the rainy season in Cambodia and a few administrative difficulties with permissions, the construction of the house has taken a little longer than we originally planned.
However, we have already made the first very important step. We built a toilet for Grandmas. Before that, they had to go into the forest in the jungle. Now they finally have their own toilet, which already makes their daily life much safer and more comfortable.
At the moment, we are in discussions with a construction team and expect to begin building the house very soon.
Yes, the budget has increased slightly, but we are planning to raise the remaining funds in the coming weeks so that we can finish the project without delays.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported this project and continues to care. Your kindness is already making a real difference in Grandma Huy’s life.
With gratitude,
Samalia ✨
